  • It's essential for postpartum mothers to prioritize self-care. By recognizing and addressing the physical demands of the postpartum period, mothers can better support their own recovery and well-being as they adjust to life with a newborn. To aid our guests in their physical recovery journey, we provide a complimentary postnatal massage with every booking. The physical demands of the postpartum period are often underestimated, yet they are significant and require careful attention and support. These massages are designed to induce relaxation, relieve tension, and facilitate the physical healing process following childbirth, a journey that spans several weeks.

Additionally, postpartum mothers may experience physical changes related to breastfeeding. Engorgement, nipple soreness, and breast tenderness are common as the body adjusts to the demands of milk production and nursing. We provide availability for our guests to purchase additional massages, including specialized treatments such as breast massage, for targeted benefits such as providing relief and stimulation to promote lactation production and alleviate any issues related to engorgement or blocked ducts.

Common challenges faced by new parents include baby blues, stress & anxiety, and postpartum depression (PPD). These challenges not only exist for mom, but for dad/partner as well. We foster a nurturing environment where parents are encouraged to openly express their emotions and receive compassionate support in a safe space where parents feel heard, understood, and valued as they navigate the highs and lows of parenthood. In addition to one-on-one support, we also host social events designed to facilitate group discussion and create a supportive network finding comfort, validation, and encouragement from others who are walking a similar path. These events provide an opportunity for parents to share their experiences and form meaningful connections with fellow members of the Casa Mamá community.

  • These meals play a crucial role in nourishing and replenishing the body after childbirth, providing essential nutrients to support healing and lactation. Postpartum recovery meals are specially designed to meet the unique nutritional needs of new mothers, who require extra energy and nutrients to recover from the physical demands of labor and delivery, as well as to support the production of breast milk. Additionally, these meals can help combat fatigue, boost mood, and aid in hormonal balance during the postpartum period. By prioritizing nutritious and balanced meals, new mothers can support their overall health and well-being as they adjust to life with a newborn.

  • At Casa Mama, our educational classes offer invaluable guidance and support for new parents. From babywearing techniques and infant CPR to lactation support and meditation, our classes are designed to provide parents with essential skills and knowledge. Led by experienced instructors, our classes provide a supportive environment where parents can learn, connect, and grow together, ensuring a confident and fulfilling journey into parenthood.
